• Cholera is a human diarrheal disease
• First Symptoms include: cramp and watery stools
• Diarrhea can lead to loss of up to 20 liters of liquid in 4-6 hours
• Treatment: Drink lots of water and replenish salts
• Infections requires very high concentrations of bacteria
• Attaches to the mucosal cells of intestinal villi
• Release of Cholera Toxin causes the disease
